●       Setup an online store using Shopify

●       Add Products and Categories (Collections) in the store

●       Explore basic themes of Shopify.

Hands-On Exercise No. 2

Create SHOPIFY 14 DAYS free account from following site www.shopify.com

1.  Change the theme to any free theme by selecting from free library of Shopify. (2 marks) For example

2.  Add 5 categories (Collections) as following: (3 marks)

3.  Add sub-categories per category as given below: (5 marks)

a.    Phone and Tablet

i.    Smart Phone

ii.    Feature Phone

iii.    Mobile and Tablet Accessories

b.    Sports

i.    Team Sports

ii.    Sports Accessories

iii.    Racket Sports

c.    Health

i.    Herbs

ii.    Fitness Watch

iii.    Equipment

d.    Clothes

i.    Men

ii.    Women

iii.    Kids

e.    Appliances

i.    Large Appliances

ii.    Small Appliances

NOTE

1.      This Hands-On Exercise will be marked based on the procedures and steps that you would follow during the exercise.

2.      Send us the snapshots that you have created.

3.      We will analyze your solution based on the steps that you would perform.

4.      Your snapshot must clearly show your Shopify account names product categories and sequence of steps you followed.

5.      Use some good screen capturing tool, like snipping tool or print screen.

6.      Your Shopify account name must match your identity.
