Allama lqbal Open University is transforming to adopt ICT enabled portals/application as part of "Digital Transformation" roadmap. In this context, a complete LMS is going to be deployed to improve academic discipline and enhance learning experience of students. The "Aaghee Tutors Portal" for e-Registration of tutors shall provide an opportunity to the highly motivated aspirant applicants to get registered and serve for the noble cause of education. This portal is being offered to the qualified and experienced teachers/faculty members, who have already been registered as Part Time Tutors with the AIOU or fresh candidates interested in the registration at AIOU. All such applicants are required to apply for e-Registration through this portal available at the link given below: https://tutor.aiou.edu.pk

Eligibility for Registration
Sr. No 1 Programme Level Matric/SSC Qualification Required Minimum 2nd class Master degree Experience Required w Govt. teachers in BPS-16 and above: at least two years teaching experience required o Govt. teachers working in grade 11 to 15: three years post qualification teaching experience required 2 Intermediate /HSSC Minimum 2nd class Master degree in the relevant subject Minimum 2nd class 3 BA/B.Com Master degree in the relevant subject o MPhill/PhD degree holders: No teaching experience required is Teachers working in institutions: Masters/ Minimum 2nd class private five years post qualification teaching BS (4 years) Master degree in relevant subject preferably having an experience required o Teachers working in reputed large school networks, affiliated colleges with MPhill/PhD degree Board/Universities and degree awarding institutions: Two years post qualification BEd (1.5, 2.5 and Minimum 2nd class teaching experience required 5 4 years) and ADE MA Education/ MEd  Visiting faculty members of the Universities: One year post qualification teaching experience required.

Remember that Those candidate whose have only Master degree but they do not have experience as mention in eligible criteria in Advertisement they are not eligible for tutorship.

ALLAMA IQBAL OPEN UNIVERSITY (AIOU) TUTORSHIP REGISTRATION

Teaching or academic staff of AIOU, whose person marked candidates assignments and guide throughout the entire for subject is said to be a Tutor. You can also become tutor of AIOU, if you fulfil the criteria as prescribed by AIOU for tutorship. It is very easy and part time job for every educated person either serving in govt job or private job but mostly govt teachers prefer this job.

How to Apply:

In the start of every semester both Spring & Autumn, AIOU enable link for registration on website. From where, all data of entire for tutorship. This data may be entired by regional office or you can also entire data (mean you can also fill the form yourself). And you need to pay 500 fee for tutorship.

Another  way, You can also download form and after filling this form and submit 500 fee for tutorship at bank, you need to submit form at regional office at any time. Then, regional office shall entire your data ownself at anytime when link is enable.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR APPOINTMENT AS TUTOR

1.                   The Tutor Registration forms will be received by the concerned Region as per guidelines issues by the Directorate of Regional Services.

2.                   After preliminary scrutiny in the Regions, these forms will be forwarded to the Directorate of Regional Services for further processing. The Directorate of Regional Services has been authorized to verify the attached documents with the tutor registration form for determining the eligibility.

3.                   The recommendations of the Directorate of Regional Services are forwarded to the Data Processing Manager for issuance of a Tutor Registration Card.

4.                   The processing fee for Tutor Registration Form will be Rs.500/-.  The applicant will pay fee along-with TRF in the shape of Challan (available on our website) in favor of Treasurer, AIOU. The Ph. D degree holders applying for registration as tutor will be exempted from the Tutor Registration fee. The processing fee once deposited will not be refunded in any case.

5.                   The applicant will submit its TRF along-with attested copies of testimonials and the prescribed fee in the Regional Office concerned.

6.                   The registration will not confer any right of appointment as a tutor under any circumstances.

7.                   The official receiving the TRF in the Region will ensure that the applicant is eligible for tutor registration, form is complete in all respects and requisite documents duly attested by an authorized officer are enclosed.

8.                   The official in the Region will also issue applicant I.D to the applicant on the spot as per guideline issued to the Regions.  

9.                   Check list is the integral part of the TRF, please fill it carefully and attach it at the front of the Tutor Registration Form while submitting in the Region.

Note: when you get registration card for AIOU Tutorship. Then, you need to visit again for regional office. You need to write application to regional director for allotment of courses codes assignment and attached photocopy of registration card of aiou Tutorship. After then, within a week, you will be alloted Courses Code.
